RememberOluwale partnered with the amazing Virtual Migrants arts collective for the Leeds leg of their national tour with Continent Chop Chop, their climate justice performance which foregrounds migration issues arising from global warming. Sai Murray (poet and Board member of RememberOluwale, seen in the photo above) devised the programme and led an afternoon workshop with members of Leeds No Borders and others:
Malik Morgan Murphy read a poem and played bass, with Pariss Elektra who sang and played electric guitar.
Margaret (Leeds No Borders) read two poems. Manuel’s poem was recorded at the workshop and played to the audience.
